Private beta · padel match analysis

Know what to train next.

Film your match from behind the glass. Bandeja Lab finds every shot, maps how you move and gives each player the three things to train next, with the numbers behind each one and how sure we are.

How it works

Phone on the glass. Report after the match.

Mount your phone on the back glass

Any back-glass mount works. As high as you can, centred, 1080p at 60 fps, sound on.

Upload the match

Straight from your phone. We find the court lines for you; check them and start the analysis.

Get your report

Every shot found, your movement mapped, and three training priorities for each of the four players.

What's in the report

Numbers you can act on

Every finding comes with the evidence and says how sure it is. If the video can't show something reliably, the report says so instead of guessing.

Training priorities

Three things to train

  • Ranked by how much they matter and how often they happen
  • The numbers behind each one, compared with the other three
  • What to practise, plus what went well

Movement

Where you stand and how you move

  • Distance, speed and sprints
  • Time in attack, no man's land and defence
  • Heatmap of your half, rally time only

Pair play

Do you move as a wall?

  • How often you're both at the net
  • How often you split up, one up and one back
  • Whether you get back to the net after defending

The match

How the points were built

  • Rally lengths and how much of the time the ball was in play
  • Who in each pair hits the overheads and serves
  • Your play style, from what sets you apart

Shot profile Experimental

Every shot, by type

  • Volleys, bandejas, víboras, smashes, serves
  • The technique point flagged most often
  • Pro players shown for context, not as a score

Highlights

Clips to share

  • Your longest rallies as short clips
  • A share link for the other three players
  • Player photos only if you allow it

Not measured yet

Winners and errors, the score, ball speed and shot direction. From a phone behind the glass, the video can't tell these reliably yet, so the report leaves them out.

One real match, by the numbers

33 minutes of doubles

Measured from one phone on the back glass. Every player gets the same for their own game.

How to record

Five minutes before you play

Good video makes a good report. A suction mount such as Acepad holds your phone steady on the back glass.

Get an Acepad mount →

  1. Mount it high and centred. In the middle of the back glass, 2.5 to 3 m up if you can, tilted down so the floor right below the camera is in view. That keeps your pair in frame when you defend.
  2. Frame the whole court. Landscape, 1080p at 60 fps, HDR off. If the near corners are cut off, use the 0.5× lens with lens correction on.
  3. Keep the sound on. Shots are found from the sound of the ball.
  4. Lock it and leave it. Airplane mode or Do Not Disturb, battery above 50%. An hour of video is about 6–9 GB.
  5. Upload on Wi-Fi. After the match, upload from your phone or computer and confirm the court lines we find.

Questions

Good to know

What do I need?

A phone and a mount that holds it on the back glass, behind one baseline. No cameras to install and nothing to wear.

Where exactly should my phone go?

In the middle of the back glass, as high as you can, filming in landscape with the whole court in view. See how to record.

How long can a recording be?

A full match, up to about two hours. Longer videos work too; they just take longer to upload.

Can we change ends during the match?

Yes. Players are told apart by their clothes, so changing ends is fine. Different-coloured shirts help.

How long does the analysis take?

It depends on the length of the match. Your match list shows the progress and when the report is ready.

Which phones work?

Any iPhone or Android phone that films 1080p. You upload in the browser on your phone or computer; no app to install.

Indoor and outdoor courts?

Both. The analysis needs the court lines and players to be clearly visible, so very dark courts or strong low sun give less precise results.

Does it work for all four players?

Yes, everyone gets their own report. The far pair is small in the frame, so their technique checks are less precise. The near pair drops out of view when they stand right against the glass, which is why a high mount matters.

How accurate is it?

Shots are found from the sound of the ball, and players and positions from the video. Every finding says how sure it is: "likely" means the data points that way but has gaps, and anything too unsure is left out. Technique checks are marked experimental. Winners, errors and the score aren't measured yet.

Who can see my videos?

Only you, and the people you share a match with. Share links leave out photos of the players unless you turn them on. The original video is deleted 30 days after the analysis; the report and clips stay. You can delete a match at any time, and players filmed in your match can ask us to remove them.

Does it replace a coach?

No. It shows what happened and what to work on, every match. A coach helps you fix it faster.

What does it cost?

Free during the beta. After that, see pricing. Your first two matches are always free.
